CollaborationsR&D Collaborations
InvivoGen Therapeutics has established several ongoing research and development collaborations within the Cancer-Bio-Health Cluster of Toulouse. CRCT - INSERM U1037 (Toulouse - France) Louis Buscail, PU-PH, Team Leader "molecular markers and biotherapy of digestive system cancers" at the Cancer Research Center, Toulouse Purpan (UMR 1037 Inserm / UPS / CNRS), InvivoGen Therapeutics and the National Institute of Health and Medical Research (UMR 858, now UMR 1037 since January 1st, 2011) are working together since 2000 regarding the development of a genetic therapy strategy for the treatment of pancreatic cancer. This strategy is based on the transfer of a hybrid suicide gene dck::umk and a type 2 somatostatin (sst2) receptor gene coupled with the chemotherapeutic agent Gemcitabine. InvivoGen Therapeutics and Toulouse University Hospital Center (CHU de Toulouse) have launched a phase I/II clinical trial to test this strategy (THERGAP trial) at the end of 2010 (Promoter CHU de Toulouse – Principal Investigator Prof. Louis BUSCAIL). GIMAP EA3064 (Saint-Etienne - France) InvivoGen Therapeutics has initiated a collaboration with the joint research unit GIMAP EA3064 for the development of immunoglobulin A (IgA) as research reagents and therapeutic agents. Therapeutics aspects cover HIV and oral vaccine research. Manufacturing Agreements
CHU ToulouseInvivoGen Therapeutics has signed a contract with the Toulouse University Hospital Center (Centre Hospitalier Universitaire - CHU Toulouse) to manufacture clinical lots for the TherGAP clinical trial (pancreatic cancer). Licensing Agreements
TransgeneInvivoGen Therapeutics has granted Transgene an exclusive license with covering the use of the fcy::fur suicide gene for gene therapy of 5-FU sensitive tumors. |
